Motorcycle Skills Assessment Retest

Has your learner’s licence expired? We’ve got you.

What You’ll Get

If your licence has expired before you’ve passed your road test, you’ll need to retake both the knowledge test and the Motorcycle Skills Assessment (MSA). We make the retesting process simple and supportive—just for our Survival Rider graduates.

Step 1: Retake your Knowledge Test

Book an appointment at ICBC up to 90 days before your licence expires. Once you pass, you’ll receive a new learner’s licence—with full restrictions.

Step 2: Book your MSA Retest

To lift the speed and supervisor restrictions, you’ll need to redo the parking lot test (MSA). You can do this through ICBC for free—or with us for $60 + GST.
